Pale and hazy with a gentle citrus nose. There is head retention but it's negligible.
Yes, this is a friendly enough beer but everything is muted. You yearn for some oomph on many levels and you don't get it anywhere.
But again, it is nice, albeit not at Halo's price. This should not be over $3, it's not justified to be charged more.

Unfiltered, dull gold like fresh squeezed lemon juice; topped by a white head with ok retention.
Sweet citrus and exotic fruit hops on the nose, fresh. Mango, pineapple, orange.
Flavour mirrors the aroma beautifully, with juicy orange and grapefruit, pineapple, mango, all singing. Approachable bitterness creeps in towards the dry finish, providing length and balance. Fresh and not pithy at all. Refreshing and cleansing feel, with medium body and carbonation, easy drinking.
This would be a good introduction to IPAs for those that don't like them, as the balance with sweet fruit and bitterness of the hops is spot on. Very well crafted, a nice pairing with bbq pork or a cobb salad.

From bottle. Really hazy quite dark color with off-white head, seems oxidized. Aroma has some caramel notes and grassy hops. Taste follows with some toasted malt and walnut notes with earthy hops and grapefruit bitterness. Medium body and carbonation. Pretty sure this bottle was oxidized but it's still quite good.

Bottle: Poured a hazy dark orangey color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and minimal retention. Aroma of fresh tropical fruits with some mango notes also discernable and nice floral undertones. Taste is a nice mix of mango notes with some citrusy hops notes, minimal bitterness with some cereal notes also perceptible. Body is full with limited filtration with medium carbonation. Solid beer by a new brewery but some clean-up is still requires to really enhance the hops flavours.

Loads of unfiltered orange hop flavour. Best beer of the night, at the source. Unfiltered orange look, though no head. Good mouthfeel for an IPA. Very drinkable.
