Impossible Geometries is more than meets the eye. It tastes like pineapples and papayas, yet it contains no fruit at all. It feels juicy when it hits the tongue, yet it's made without any juice. It has a distinct tropical flavour, yet it's brewed in oh-so-temperate Toronto. No matter how you look at it, this is one refreshing paradox.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, from Small Batch Dispatch's September 2024 curation. My fourth beer from the fine Toronto, Ontario brewery.

Hazy amber color with off-white head. Aroma has some light caramelized malt with some weird herbal notes. Taste is weird: some dirty rags, sweet malt and generic hops. Medium body and medium to soft carbonation. Not quite bad overall but it has some nasty off notes.

Pours an orange copper colour, 1.5 fingers white head and some lace. Smell is full of tropical fruit, huge hop profile, mango and pineapple, just a light sugary/sweet malt in the periphery, nice nose altogether. Taste if full of juicy hop flavour, pineapple and mango, lots of tropical and citrus flavour, very juicy, bitterness is restrained, lightly malty mid palate, fruity aftertaste. Lightly carbonated, medium full body. Solid stuff, a very well made DIPA, first impression of these guys is very promising.

Lots of frothy head, cloudy amber, lots of sweet tropical fruits in the aroma and in the taste..... lots of underlying bitterness.... a classic tropical styled DIPA, but with a unique sweetness and focus on the more sweeter tropical fruits, rather than lots of citrus..... overall a nice IPA offering from Halo.

A - medium Amber colour with a thin layer of off-white head

S - bright tropical fruit aromas: peach, papaya and guava. A caramel sweetness is also present

T - A big fruitiness up front. The tropical fruit bouquet from the nose is present in spades with notes of guava, pineapple and mango. A sticky caramel sweetness provides some balance to a massive bitterness.

M - medium body. Sticky and oily. Light carbonation
