FYI - described at brewery as sweet and sour golden ale, and not an American wild ale as noted on BA. Think this is important as it points to style cues borrowed from proper Belgian golden ales, namely colour, yeast character, and ABV. Would be unfair to classify this as general American wild ale as with high ABV it would outclass the joint:)
Dig this -- but be warned this is a boozy beer that creeps up on you. Pleasant sour notes add depth but don't overpower the traditional style points, so it's a mash- up through and through. Kinda like the only other beer I've tried by them, the sour IPA.
I hope all their sour offerings aren't just sour riffs on hop or malt forward styles. That might get old. Fast.
Also of concern -- more than 1/2 into this bottle. The lady and I agree that the yeast character of this brew is all but interchangeable with that of the sour IPA we had before dinner. That shouldn't be the case. British yeast and Belgian strains are mutually exclusive.

Tasty little beer, mildly sour but but nice sweetness and good drinkability. Unique and worth having as a changeup in a sour tasting. Lets see more of these.
