Halo's very first barrel aged beer. A blend of 24 month aged barrels refermented on yuzu purée, Primer features an incredibly complex medley of aromas and flavours. Here’s what you can expect from the first of our 2021 releases:

AROMA: lemon, honeydew, subtle pine + eucalyptus
APPEARANCE: gold, pale soft white foam
FLAVOUR: yuzu, pineapple, orange pulp, slightly resinous, McIntosh apple, light oak
MOUTHFEEL: soft carb, smooth, sour, light tannins
PAIRINGS: fries, seafood, ceviche

Our Wild Construct series explores the order and chaos in nature with an ever-evolving line-up of 1-2 year aged wild ales, carefully blended with fruits/adjuncts that complement the unique characteristics of each barrel.

Shelf-life: Can be aged for years at cellar temperatures.

Malts: Bohemian Pilsner, Pale Wheat, Rolled Oats, Chit, Munich II
Hops: Magnum, Tettnang
Yeast: Vermont Ale, HiChew
Adjuncts: Yuzu Puree
