Shindig is a good 'ol time, Pivo-style Pilsner brewed with 100% traditional Bohemian Floor-Malted Pilsner Malt from Germany, and German hops. Its medium-light body has elegant cereal and baked bread character, with low bitterness and a refined and refreshing finish.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. Canned December 16/24. My 13th beer from the Blyth, Ontario brewery, and 7th for 2025. Radically adored by Sundae the cat...

Pours a little bit of foam. Hay color. Malt smell.
Taste is malty and a little grainy. I usually really like beers like this. The more grainy bready taste, the better.
Low bitterness and very easy to drink. I would get this one again. It's a solid beer.

Pours a pale, light yellow color. Fluffy head formation with mild retention. Herbal on the nose. Malty, floral, biscuit flavors. Mild bitterness. Pleasant one.

If you've got to drink a light lager, make it this one.
I'm not a fan of light beers and radlers most of the time, but I see why you would want to have some, and this does it perfectly. It's light and very thirst-quenching while still tasting good. That's a lot more than most light beers can say.

Being a light lager should limit expectations. Pours pale straw with limited fizzy head that quickly dissipates - no lacing - aroma light graininess some caramel - flavour also thin - too much sweetness and too little hop balance.

473 ml tall boy can from the LCBO. Cost was around $3.15 CDN. Review from notes.
Appearance - very pale gold colour, some Haines and lots of bubbles. Capped by a finger of white head with minimal lacing afterwards.
Smell - not a lot here. Clean and grainy with a touch of lemon mixed in with some grassiness.
Taste - very light, some general graininess with a hint of lemon towards the ends that is integrated very nicely.
Mouthfeel - crisp, light bodied, easy to throw back. Moderate carbonation and slightly drying finish, but quenches the thirst oh so well.
Overall - shindig is a tasty if up memorable lager.
