At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, from their Summer Mixer boxset, from my favourite LCBO at The Roundhouse Centre in nearby Windsor. My fourth beer from the Blyth, ON brewery...(3.5 then)
April 17, 2026: my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From their Winter Mixer boxset at my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. Canned October 1/24. My 2nd time drinking this, and 1st for 2026. Admired very much by Gracie...(3.75 now)

473 mL can from the LCBO; there's a date stamp, but I can't make heads or tails of it. Served well chilled.
Pours a slightly foggy pale yellow colour, kicking up nearly a finger of soapy, frothy white head that lasts for a minute or two before being reduced to a thin collar and film. Modest lace deposition; looks good for a light beer. Clean pale malts and graininess on the nose, with faint suggestions of grassy hops and lemon pith.
An excellent light beer - tastes clean, and not nearly as bland as the macro brands. Only a little corny, with grainy cereal sweetness and tortilla, followed by hints of lemon rind and hay receding into an off-dry finish. Light in body, with aggressive carbonation that remains prickly well into the course of the glass; crisp, refreshing, and very drinkable. In theory, I could drink this all night, but in practice, I don't see myself buying six of these in the first place.
Final Grade: 3.68, a B grade. Smooth Sailing is very good for what is, but the truth is I have little interest in light beers, at least beyond a random tick here or there. It's better than their Shindig, but I think I'd take Absent Landlord over this one. If nothing else, consumers of light beer can consider this worth a try.

Pours a nice clear gold colour with a small head. The smell is corns and grains. The taste is simple biscuit and grains, nothing fancy. Nice thirst quenchability
