Tallboy can from the LCBO, included in Cowbell's Summer Mixer pack. Dated Mar 31 2023 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a clear golden-blonde colour, topped with one finger of loose, soapy white head that settles off within two or three minutes' time. A messy coat of lace is produced in the process, with a tight, sudsy collar left surrounding a filmy cap - looks normal enough. Biscuity and grainy on the nose, with hints of floral, herbal, slightly spicy hops, as well as a faint hint of diacetyl.
A serviceable, no frills pils: I'm tasting grainy pilsner malts at the forefront, soon joined by a bready, biscuity sweetness. Noble hops provide some floral, herbal characteristics later on, leading up to a biscuity, earthy-herbal aftertaste that lingers on the taste buds for a few seconds. Light in body, with moderately low carbonation that rolls softly along the surface of the palate; smooth mouthfeel that makes this lager very easy to toss back.
Final Grade: 3.78, earning a B+. Cowbell's Clean Break Crisp Pilsner isn't anything to write home about, but the flip side of that coin is that I have no serious complaints, either. I think I'd take this over their flagship Absent Landlord, but then again, I will almost always take a pilsner over a kölsch, so that's hardly surprising. It's not one of the best Ontario pilsners I've ever tried, but it'll get the job done in a pinch - worth a look either way, and something I'm sure I'll drink again at some point.

I bought a 12 pack at the LCBO in Ontario they were 355ml cans at 4.9%.
Poured into glass with a 1 finger head leaving a lace as you drink it.
Just as the title says it's clean and crispy.
Very smooth also with a good medium bitterness level.
Overall this Pils is very nice with a spicy finish i like it and definitely would buy it again.
Cheers

Pours crystal clear gold colour with a small but present head. Grainy and corny on the smell. The taste is bready with a farm field aura to it. Crisp and clean like the label says
