We're fans of large melons here at Pipe Dream Brewing, so we took watermelon gummy candies and mixed in some blackberries for fun to create a special sour ale dedicated to increasing breast cancer awareness. To go a step further, we are donating a portion of all the proceeds to help find a cure. So drink up and help us save some boobs! Please keep cold and drink fresh.

Oh boy. This smell is amazing but the letdown from the smell to the taste is unbelievable. It smells like a watermelon juice spritzer with just a bit of funk reminiscent of incense. The taste is like watermelon jolly rancher and funky koolaid. The body is medium, sticky and a little unpleasant. Odd, funky and a little unpleasant would sum this beer up to me.

From a 16 fl. oz. can sampled on Nov 6, 2021.
The appearance was a surprising looking purple or violet underneath a modest, fading off-white head.
The aroma explodes with watermelons, bubble gum, and black raspberries. Little to no malt sensation that I can find.
The mouthfeel is smooth and right around medium.
Th flavor emulates the watermelon and bubble gum aromas but there is also this out-of-place sort of butterscotch character. This is nowhere near as tart or sour as other beers of this style. It's actually rather approachable if you can get over the watermelons. Proceeds support a good cause - breast cancer research.
