A: Pours an amber/copper color. A white head forms, but quickly recedes to nothing. No lace left behind.
S: A simple and neutral aroma. Kind of malty, kind of hoppy. In a very generic sense. I can't really describe it more.
T: The malt character has a bit more definition. With toasted, caramel malts. Hops are light, with generic citrus fruit, light bitterness and an odd oiliness. I think they are using Fuggle hops here, but it doesn't come across that way to me (missing the earthiness and spiciness).
M/O: A medium body and moderate carbonation. A soapy and oily consistency. Just OK to drink.
Nothing here suggests any kind of English style at all, and I can be pretty forgiving on that front for American breweries. Not outright bad, and just kind of generically OK. It doesn't really stand out and not something I'm planning on coming back to soon.
