Grab:
12 oz can from a sixer purchased at Harry B's in East End. Dated 3/12/26, Cost $9.61
Pour:
Thin to non-existent head and clear filtered pale straw color. Very low visible carbonation for style.
Sniff:
Clean grains, likely six or two-row malt mostly, maybe some adjuncts, but at this ABV, probably not. Very faint traditional American/German noble hop.
Sip:
Tastes like a quality light American pilsner lager upfront, low DMS, light on adjuncty artifacts and very low bitterness and hop character. On the dry side but has a little residual corny sweetness.
Swish:
The beer could use more carbonation tingle. It has a slight unctuous texture similar to Busch and Busch Light.
Think:
Solid taste for the style, but feels flat and looks boring. I did a direct comparison with this beer and Busch Light and can say confidently that the Flyway brewers successfully cloned the budget and stoner-friendly St. Louis corn lager but with slightly less carbonation. If you want to support local beer in Arkansas and love Busch Light, then buy this beer. Otherwise just buy Busch Light.
