Mid sized, multi pace rectangle of a room. Heavy large pieces of light wood for tables and bar, friendly staff. Several of their own creations on tap, plus a few guest lines. Full menu of tasty food options. Lots of character and a quite worthy spot for boutique level beer options. Come for a meal, a few drafts, a meeting with a group (seemed like there were several of these going on)

Beer in cans to go is always a good thing to have available

Came here with a colleague on a recent work trip to Montreal.

Had the following beers on tap:
Pit Caribou Session IPA de Lesseps
Pit Caribou Sticke Alt Fumée - Altbier
Pit Caribou IPA Américaine des Appalaches

The beers ranged from decent to very good. Also ordered a charcuterie board, which was pretty tasty. Service was solid as the waitress did a commendable job of recommending drinks to my non-beer-drinking co-worker. Our overall experience was above average, and I would probably come back.

Located in a great part of Montreal and right off the bike path plus across from La Banquise to kick that poutine craving. Vibe inside is fantastic with some pretty rad fishing themed decorations, beautiful bar and tables inside and funky communal washrooms in the basement. Only downside is there's no terrasse. We were there the day after a Mont Saleve (France) tap takeover so oddly enough we only tried a couple from them which were very good. Have had Pit Caribou offerings before though and there beers are good and would be worth the visit. Styles don't stray too far into the extreme. Haven't had food there before. Service was very good with servers friendly, helpful and quick with the water. I'd honestly just go for the decor!

Gaspesian food, good selection of their own beer plus some interesting guests. The decor is a modern chic take on what could otherwise be tacky sea themed decor. Very clean lines. Music a little boomer for this boomer.

A pretty nice new bar on the Plateau. The room itself is fairly spacious and not overly loud. As for beers, they have a selection of most (or all) of their flagships as well as some special brews, some bottles, occasional casks, as well as kegs from brewers that you won't find super frequently around Montreal, flights, cocktails and food (focusing on Gaspésie, just like the tap list and everything else). The beer is good, the selection is solid, The menu is reasonable. We tried a couple snack platters and they were ample and pretty good quality for the price (keeping in mind that we are talking about Montreal...), nothing mind-blowingly great, but a nice varied accompaniment to the beers. The servers seemed to know about everything and gave good recommendations. As far as the beer goes, more than anything else it is a nice opportunity to try a lot of beers that you won't usually find around Montréal. Or should I say "couldn't find before"? I'm glad this place opened. If I lived a little bit closer I would definitely go semi-frequently.

Nice vibe, no terrace but the inside is very airy and color scheme makes it bright. While small in appearance, pub is well spaced out. Selection is about 8-10 Pit Caribou beers and 5-6 guest taps, some not available anywhere else. The flights were only for the standard selection of Pit Caribou beers with an upcharge to include 1 guest tap, only down side for me as other than 1 or 2 beers, most house ales are available at beer stores. That said, nice place to try some Quebec microbreweries that don't distribute.
