Like a trusty pair of go-to trousers, Pilsners have endured the test of time as a comfortably consistent style. German and Old World Pilsner Malts fit snug around Northern Brewer, Loral & Saphir hops while a durable German Pilsner yeast buttons up fermentation in just under 30 days, resulting in a crisp, clean, dependable beer. with all the shake and fruity beers a pilsner is great to enjoy - what a beer was supposed to be great to enjoy with friends - easy to drink a few at a setting

Pours clear, gold in color with one half inch head. Taste is grass and earthy and herbal hops. Medium light body, slightly bitter with high carbonation. I like Czech pilsner and this is a bit too herbal. Very west coast take on a pils. Different. II like a more classic pils. Hard pass for me.

A pleasant pils that complemented a tapas lunch; cleansing the palate with bubbles and mild spicing.
Looks are below average, but also don't tell the story of this beer. Smells mostly malts. Tastes introduce hops in a balanced way. MouthFeel is modest, but bubbly enough to cleanse the palate.
My first from Barrel Bros, so I went on their website. They are young as a business, just under five years old. But they are in an epicenter of brewing and they are making it. A fun thing for two brother-in-laws to do.

Canned 3/2/18
Look: Light yellow gold in color, near perfectly clear. About a fingers worth of head with nice amounts of lacing.
Smell: Sweet malt smell, with some honey. Nice bready smell with some lemon.
Taste: Sweet bread flavor with a slight tartness on the finish. Easy to drink and relatively simple tasting. Some aftertastes of honey and grains.
Feel: Light in body and weight. Moderate to high carbonation.
Overall: Tasty and easy to drink. Nice for a hot day. Cheers!
