BBBC doesn't seem to be making Wilds any more. I bought this on the remainder shelf of a liquor store. (Are Wilds too much trouble and cost?) So if BA wants to keep this Retired, fine with me.
Since I gave them a micro-review six years ago, BBBC really has narrowed to several core beers and then has diversified into sodas and mixed alcoholic drinks. Their website also pitches pretty strongly their contract brewing. So I'm guessing their taproom also carries their contract customers, diversity is a good thing. All these changes show that this micro adjusts to the market. Hence, the very good Overall Hugs I give BBBC.
As for Framboise... I've had better ones, but this one was worth its discounted price. While Framboise Looks average (too little foam even for a Wild), it does present its funk subtly to my nose. Tastes remain a little too tart; honestly going over the line into too sour. Does finish nicely dry. On the light side of medium-mouthed. I may not finish this magnum, even tomorrow.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
