L: Pours a cloudy straw yellow orange with a small foamy white head and some nice lacing on the glass.
S: Doughy and bread mixes with a nice lemon candy from the hop.
T: Doughy and bread, fairly dry, finishes with some sweet malt and a touch of lemon from the hop.
F: Fairly thick for a lager, doesn't drink as easy as some lagers.

Thanks, Chris. Canned 09/07/21, so about 5 months old.
A clear coppery orange with a dense, off-white head with decent retention and lacing. The nose is excellent, particularly for the style. Soft, bready, doughy, creamy, with cream of wheat, a light earthy and lemony hop profile. The palate opens soft and bitter with a delicate blend of bread, dough, honey, lovely balance and nice depth. A noticeable hop character, earthy and spicy, mildly pungent even, is present. A touch watery on the mid-palate. Drying, firm on the finish with a soft, creamy sweetness. Tasty.

objectively delicious, maybe technically the best of the recent beers i have had from these guys, but frankly i like the gin barrel oak and instinct the best, what a clever and interesting beer! anyways, this one is not at all what i expected from this brewery, knowing them to be a wild and sour operation, a lager like this was unexpected. its crazy that for all the process intensive funky stuff they do, that this is as good as it is, really able to rival anything out there in its class, clear and frothy and flavorful, with lager yeast you can taste. gnarly crispness, amazingly refreshing, and because of my mindset, i think i can appreciate a little funky weirdness to it, even though this is not a wild yeast beer. its clean but its interesting, and in my book that really counts for a lot. hops are low, minerality is high, and the drinkability is enormous, this is refreshing but its also not just down the hatch beer, each sip is wholly satisfying, and thats uncommon in the style i reckon. i love how fresh the grain seems to be, and how much is going on overall for such a simple beer. i actually think from a quality perspective that this is better than any of their wild or sour beers i have had so far, but my experience is real limited still. i am excited about these guys...
