unreal beer here, among all of our favorites from the visit, so good. its a hazy farmhouse ipa with wild mustard blossoms, such a unique ingredient to top this off with, but the base beer is awesome too, and this drinks incredibly unique, as so many of their beers to, never had anything quite like it. dont know what the hops are here, but i would venture to say the mustard element adds quite a lot in a similar space here, mostly in the aroma and late in the flavor, earthy and grassy, floral and peppery, but also sort of savory and umami, very clever with citrusy hops and a light bit of saison sort of funk from the yeast, this is dynamic and compelling and there is a lot going on. the mustard element is especially noticeable as this warms up, spicy in the finish but in a neat way, its delicate at the same time that its distinct. the beer has great carbonation, still some hop bitterness, and some amount of terroir in the grain that i like, although its not heavy at all. this is killer stuff, unique enough to stand way out from the crowd in this style, slightly fermentation driven too which is cool, and just delicious and memorable with the mustard blossoms, radical!
