Human Village Brewing Company "Abbey Rd"
16 fl. oz. crowler
Look: Somewhat hazy deep golden body beneath a finger-thick head of rocky white foam that holds exceptionally well and leaves some very nice lacing behind.
Smell: Citrusy, spicy/cedar-like, and phenolic over a sweet malt base.
Taste: Sweet up front with lots of Belgian yeast fruitiness and phenols. It's like tropical bubblegum, and then the yeasty spiciness washes over as the solid bitterness rises. It finishes dry and bitter with lingering spiciness and clove.
Feel: Medium bodied and crisp with an effervescent, bristling carbonation.
Overall: Quite a nice example of a Belgian-style IPA with lots of yeasty character.
