Cavernous joint which looks like it seats about 70+; was told capacity is 99. Apparently an old music bar/club whose theme was kept for the brewery - LP records line the walls, murals of musicians, framed LP covers, PA system set up for Thurs open mic, etc. Even many of the beers had music-inspired names: Lighter Shade of Pale, Haarlem Shake, Folsom Prison Brews, and so on... Compared to the more intimate tasting room of Kelly Green a couple doors down, this joint has a very different vibe, feeling a little more vacuous with few people around. The club atmosphere though is cool if one's into that.
I was the only patron for a little while, though a few people straggled in and out. Early Saturday afternoon, late August, nice day - understandable that there was no crowd. But I can see this place getting raucous and loud when packed. Was able to speak with the guys working there, one being one of the owners. They're very much into beer and it's apparent they enjoy experimenting, trying recipes and ingredients new and old. The variety in the tap list was certainly attractive to anyone open to the vast array of other world styles besides IPA. Had a flight with of 4: blonde bock (Dutch style?), Belgian pale w/ honey, French saison, hefeweizen - all worthy of a full pour. Later settled on a Sorachi Ace pale ale - so good.
Finally locating their hours on the website this morning as I'm writing this, it seems I may have barged in before they were officially open for the day, so I'd like to extend a thanks to them for being hospitable and not kicking me out. I do intend to return and hopefully bring some others along.

This is a local nanobrewery in Pitman, NJ. They have a wide range of styles available at any given time and they have a large tasting room available to you to bring food in and taste their beer. The owner is awesome and the beer is solid for each style.
