always fun to check in with craft beer in developing countries, i think the proliferation of new breweries is rampant, and the pace of innovation is fast. not sure how well this might have traveled from brazil to here, but its a neat beer, a simple lager really on the surface, bright blonde almost electric looking under a short white head, super active and well refined looking, shiny and pure to me, but once i dig in, i discover is peculiar yeast element, estery, phenolic, almost belgian to me, way more flavor than i am used to from a simple lager yeast under normal conditions. dessert wine and poached pears if i am being nice, way too warm fermented stressed yeast and bandaids if i am not. its fine when its cold, but it warms up poorly. i suspect this is better closer to the source, and that these conventional off flavors are not part of the intended flavor profile, but its hard to know for sure. i like how bubbly it is, dont mind the bit of sweetness either, but expected a crisp clean refreshing lager, and this drinks more like a belgian blonde ale if i am being honest. intriguing more than it is good, but its not bad either, grows on me as i sip it...
