Our Rauch Dopplebock aged in Woodford Reserve Rye barrels. Rye spice and smoke mix with smooth, chocolate maltiness for a little push to get us through these last cold days of the season.

Brownish black with light tan foam, spotty lacing. Smoke and smooth rye whiskey aromas. Waves of smoke, chocolate, toasted marshmallow, and lingering vanilla in the dry woody aftertaste. Definitely has a softer, creamy texture from the rye barrel. Soft and supple. Really nice stuff, and an improvement over last year’s barrel experiments.
