Simply labeled Plum on the taplist here at the brewery, appearance is turbid dark orange, almost grapefruit peel, with a short but velvety off-white head clinging in a fine quarter pipe ridge.

A very old world nose gives cheesy, toasty and nutty oak.

Sharp acid cuts a soft fluff delivering prickly plums that also hint at grapefruit, as well as balsamic, before finishing powder dry.

Cellared bottle for one year. Prune colored opaque murky body with a white ring. Smell and taste are clones: potent juicy and jammy plum with decent barnyard funk, basement must and barrel dunk, backed by rustic oak, with supporting elements of green apple, red grape, and flowers. Nose has more balance where taste is more plummy and funk is not as deep. Striking balance with the sour and funk texture with very limited acidity, decent carbonation for style. One of the better entries in the series, well done!

Pours an opaque reddish pink, ample foam that sticks around.

Aroma is great, uniquely fruity plum notes, slighly earthy and rich.

Tart and juicy, plums are front and center, approaching sour. Dry aftertaste with traces of oak. Moderate acidity, maybe a touch acetic, lingering fruitiness. Medium bodied and effervescent. Overall the fruit character is unique and flavorful, though slightly more body and depth would improve it.
