Cellared a year. Reddish purple opaque body, pink tinted white collar. Sour blueberry and big funk nose, very potent. Taste adds oak, brett, pressed flowers, red currant. Wetter for the style, but oak and funk provide plenty of accents for the slightly acidic sour feel. Very nice, but would have aged a touch longer

Had this on draft 7/31/21 @ Hopleaf.

A bit too sour/tart for me, but overall this balanced fruitiness and acidity fairly well. Those with a bit more toughness would probably love it!!

Deep purplish color, pastel purple foam lasts for a couple minutes, lasting ring of persistent foam, minimal spotty lace. Looks almost like a natural pet-nat wine.

Aroma is a blueberry blast of fruit, fresh and natural berries, some mild oak and leafiness behind that.

Sour and acidic, full of blueberry character. A touch of acetic acid, dry oaky finish. Lingering blueberry aftertaste, vinous feel. Well carbed and effervescent. Overall this one is recommended, all of Dovetail’s recent bottlings with dark fruit have been excellent.
