Draft at the brewery for the Secret Garden event during FOBAB 2021 weekend. Served in a stemmed Dovetail teku glass. Went back for a second 125ml pour to close out the night, this one was a favorite. Bright gold, sharp clarity, two fingers of foam, spotty lacing.
Aroma is fruit forward with a bright clean acidity. Stonefruit, lemon, white grapes. Taste has a lot of depth, fruit forward with a lot of stonefruit, light Brett funk and moderate acidity. Slight acetic sharpness but well into the background. Medium bodied, ample carbonation. Overall Dovetail's Riesling was a winner, and was unanimously preferred over Tilquin Riesling that our group shared had last week.
