Warm up with a mulled version of our 2020 pomme - our spontaneous ale spiced with cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, allspice, and ginger. Served warm with a cinnamon stick.

Served at the taproom in a small dimpled mug with a floating cinnamon stick. Amber brown with no head, nice handwarmer like a hot cup of java. Color is darker than Pomme, with some cloudiness from the spice I guess.
Aromas of spiced baked apples and cinnamon.
Tastes like apple pie though not as sweet, bready baked crust lingers for a bit with a hint of funk. Possibly a little THP present. A jarring bitterness kind of throws it off. Apple seeds? The warmth is comforting, and it’s a pleasant cold weather sipper. I liked Glühkriek a bit more, but it’s a fun winter seasonal series i’m all on board with.

Pours a dark brown color without much of a head. Aroma is like a warm baked apple pie with notes of apple, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, clove, and ginger. Yea it’s all there on the nose just opening up the senses. Taste follows the nose with those spices coming through along with notes of apple and warm bread. Somewhat tart as that spontaneous beer underneath peeps through. Kind of dry on the finish. Feel is medium bodied, literally warming since it’s served hot, and kind of dry.
Such a unique beer - I can’t say I’ve had a warm beer before but this is delicious. Perfect for a cold winter’s night.
