If you like pumpkin, this had a great pumpkin smell, but what killed it was the maple syrup. The syrup seems to leave an odd aftertaste. I state it's the syrup for I experience the odd aftertaste on Morning in my bed stout. If you like pumpkin, you'll like the start of this. Just not sure if the syrup is too much sugar and interfering with the hop notes or the timing of when the syrup is being introduced. Was hoping for a pumpkin/maple finish but the maple is too subtle and again I just can't get past the after taste note
