Sweet, tropical, slightly dank hoppy nose on this one! Nice! Taste follows with a silky, smooth on-the-palate, orange-citrus bitterness. Initially, it had a bit of hop burn when first carcked open...but then, it smoothed out even more and changed into this soft and juicy, almost fluffy citrus bitterness. This gets better and better as it warms! So tasty!

Canned12/20/18.
L: Pours hazy and vibrant yellow in color. Personally, it has the color that I most admire in NEIPAs. A finger of a dense white cap that settled rapidly. Heaps of lacing left on the glass.
S: Aromas of lemon, yeast, melon and cracked black pepper. Minimal grassy aroma comes off as well.
T: Very melony with hints of peach, apricot, grapefruit and lemon. Finish is grassy with lingering hop flavor mixed with citrus. Somewhat sweet with slightly earthy flavor. Aftertaste is yeasty with mild lemon.
F: Soft and full bodied. It has the pillowy feeling that I love. Wish the carbonation was slightly higher but I am not complaining. Great feel.
O: This is great. I have yet to dislike a beer from Humble Sea. I am always willing to try more when I can! I am very grateful to have tried. Cheers!

Pours with a murky bright light yellow body (way lighter than in my crappy picture, for which I apologize). A semi-aggressive pour yields just over a finger of head. The head is white and rocky, but dissipates quickly and leaves minimal lacing on the glass. Smell is a mix of orange juice and some sweet yeast. Not the most pungent beer, and I'm not blown away by the smell flavor, but it's alright overall. Taste follows the nose. There is discernible yeast presence, but the overall fruity flavor is pleasant. Grapefruit and orange dominate other fruit notes. Feel is a spot on NEIPA, with a soft body and well-hidden alcohol. This is a good NEIPA and, like most of the beers produced by this new brewery, it hits all of the necessary NEIPA marks. It's not world class, but an enjoyable product that I'm grateful to have right now.
