Introducing to you the first beer of our Virtual Collab series: Virtual Collab: Finback Foggy DIPA. In virtual collaboration with Finback Brewery, a double dry hopped foggy DIPA w/ some of the heaviest hitting hops to our name: Strata, Nelson, El Dorado & Riwaka.

We teamed up with our good friends from Queens, New York, to work on a creative project to help get us through these anxious times. As our industry turns upside down, and we're all working hard to protect our small operations and that staff that remains, we reached out to friends all over the country to work on a shared piece of art, send some goofy texts, selfies and FaceTime calls.

After lots of back and forth, of course the Finback crew selected some of our best, and rarest, hops to toss into this colossal 9% DIPA. East Coast Juice with a West Coast Boost!

A 9% dipa that is on the verge of becoming a triple, this pandemic has been horrible but this idea of Virtual Collab is something that I can get behind. This collab between Finback and Humble was done well, they made a very strong tasting dipa that was made with Strata, Rikawa, El Dorado, and Nelson. I got a strong citrus taste that was a little more bitter than Im used to but great beer nonetheless.

Sweet white wine grape, tropical hoppy, and hint of citrus nose on this one! Good aromatics, but just made me work too hard to get it. Taste follows with some tropical sweetness upfront and then a piney-dank, citrus bitterness on the finish. This has a soft mouthfeel to it and decent depth...this is good!
