Clear golden amber brew with ample foam in the Chimay chalice. Aroma like canned peaches with a dash of oregano. This is really sweet and has a perfumey sort of taste like apple schnapps. The herbal "fresh hop" taste seems at odds with the sweet malt that is more like an American Strong Ale at its weirdest. Cola and cheap brandy.
This is too sugary and peculiar for idle sipping. Still, it's interesting and certainly strong enough if you're in the mood for something like a Long Island Ice Tea. From the 16 oz can shipped from City Beer Store. Dated 10/29/20 on the bottom.
