Another beer from the January 2021 pickup. Thanks again Blake.

Pours the most familiar of all colors in the beerverse, golden. 1/2" white head. Good clarity. Every Humble Sea beer I've had excels in the appearance category. The aroma smacks more of El Dorado than anything else, Cashmere and Mosaic picking up the crumbs. Kind of a bitter pineapple, orange-mango sensation in a non DDH light kind of way. It smells nice, but its like walking into a room 3 hours after the bacon was cooked in terms of its feint-ness(?).

The taste imparted much of the same, but in a bigger way. There was a firm west coast dry bitterness in the mouth feel, but not intruding into excessive bitterness terrritory. 2 row, pale, honey possibly in the malt department. Relatively crisp. Light sweetness that made me drop the honey malt possibility.

So now we're 3 reviews in for Humble Sea and a good summary is: Great looking beer, good tasting beer, kinda pricey.

Clear golden brew with abundant foam in the big Stout glass. Lush and sudsy on the tongue, and fairly light body. Moderate acidity. Orange flavors with citrus peel. Aromatic with tangerine and a touch of mango. This is described as dry hopped with Cashmere, Mosaic, and El Dorado.

A touch of malty sweetness to start, then quite tangy but highly drinkable. Fruity aromatics last to the end. Bitterness is quite moderate but it is sharp. From the 16 oz can purchased from Bine & Vine. Dated 12/30/20 on the bottom.
