This one pours a very dark black color, with a very small, basically non-existent head, and no lacing.
This smells like melted chocolate ice cream, very sweet maple syrup, and toasted coconut.
This definitely tastes good, but it's quite unbalanced. It's just so sweet, with nothing here to balance out the very sweet ingredients that were added. It gives off a cold Swiss Miss vibe, with gobs of milk chocolate making up the base stout. On top of that very sweet base, all of the ingredients give this is a melted ice cream sundae vibe overall. Again - all of these ingredients taste good, so this tastes good, but about 1.5 oz of this is more than enough.
This is thick and syrupy, with very little carbonation. It's certainly a slow sipper.
This is just too over the top to truly enjoy the whole pour of. I love pastry stouts, but there does need to some balance.
