Split a case order with a dude in Reno recently, this was one of those beers.
Pours yellow golden, cloudy with 1/3" white head. Hoppy aroma, but with 4 different hops, you get this muddled hop aroma that isn't distinctive to any particular hop. Even if Nelson is in this (one of the most distinctive hops out there), its difficult to tell, I suspect there is more of the other hops than Nelson. Light dank, stone fruit citrus aspect to it.
Taste is decent. This is some firm ground 2nd tier hoppy beer. Above average, but not really cracking into the 4+ range for me on just about any of their beers. This does hide the alcohol well in the mouth feel. Usual citrus notes, in between though, its not the grating bitterness only grapefruit, but its not juicy, sweet tangerine either. Equal parts I guess. Just not a distinctive beer for me. No off flavors, and I mildly enjoyed it. Light malt body that doesn't influence much.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little spotty lacing.
S: Soft Nelson white grape and gooseberry, complimented by tropical and orchard fruit, a little citrus, floral notes, slight grassy resinous tones, biscuity bready malt, and a bit of caramel sweetness.
T: Floral, bright citrus, lemon, lime, grapefruit, and tangerine, nice fruity side, white grape, gooseberry, nectarine, apricot, passion fruit, and mango, slightly resinous, biscuity bready malt, and a touch of caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, just a touch creamy.
O: Dangerously drinkable DIPA showing off some great Southern Hem hops. Not sure it's got the IBUs for a full West Coast style, but it's still super enjoyable.
