Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden straw yellow with a frothy bubbly off white head that settles to a thin layer and leaves a little spotty lacing.
S: Zesty citrus, resinous pine, a little tropical fruit, grassy herbal notes, and biscuity malt.
T: Resinous pine, zesty citrus, lemon, grapefruit, and tangerine, tropical fruit slowly comes out to play, pineapple, passion fruit, under ripe mango, and apricot, grassy, subtle herbal notes, crackery malt, and a pretty much bone dry finish.
M: A bit on the lighter side of medium body, moderately lively carbonation, slight hop burn.
O: First few sips are dominated by citrus zest and pine aided by prickly carbonation, but in time the fruity side does come through nicely. It never comes close to being a juice bomb, instead staying more like a dry West Coast hazy which is kinda refreshing after so many overly sweet hazies. Definitely takes a little patience for this one to give up its goods, but it's worth it.
