Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy eggshell white head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little nice lacing.
S: Bright tropical, exotic, and stone fruit with the classic Nelson elements mixing in nicely, citrus zest, spicy pine, slight floral and grassy notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Tropical, exotic, and stone fruit, pineapple, gooseberry, passion fruit, mango, nectarine, white grape, and a hint of guava, citrus, lemon, tangerine, and grapefruit, spicy pine, floral notes, slightly grassy, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, somewhat soft on the palate.
O: Not what I was expecting, in a good way. The Nelson adds an extra dimension, but doesn't fully take over. Somehow worlds better than the Double Nelson S&S variant. I wouldn't mind this making a more frequent appearance in their rotation.
