Had this at the dipa festival in February 2023. Now, over 14 months later, I'm writing the first review of this beer for this Next Glass owned database. You see I got your old ID, and you're all dressed up like The Cure.
Pours a familiar yellow and gold color hybrid. 1/3" white head. Aroma drops an amount of Nectaron giving that fuzzy stone fruit feel to it, draped in some berries like StratastrawberryMosaic Nesquick vibes. 8 bit.
The taste brings a little more Mosaic berry and light papaya guava like feels into the equation. If you've had Humble Sea before you know the hop rate is middle of the road and its no different here. The body is light and out of the way, neutral style, also as is typical with this provider. Given the hop selection, it has a slightly higher bitterness than expected, but also totally in the good realm, not excessive. Twas a good beer that day.
I swerve when I drive. Sometimes I think Chrystal Ocean is just a blown out space on the north slope of Alaska like its her whole personality.
