TDH Hop Fused Foggy DIPA with Waimea, Vic Secret, and Citra. A collaboration with Aslin Beer Co
This beer is a whole new hop combo for us. It's loaded with heavy helpings of our selected Citra both in normal and cryo pellet form, Vic Secret, and Waimea from Freestyle Hops.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and leaves a little nice lacing.
S: Almost over ripe tropical and stone fruit, candied citrus, slightly herbal grassy notes, a little touch of pine, biscuity malt, and plenty of light caramel sweetness, with a little alcohol poking through as it warms.
T: Mix of almost over ripe tropical and stone fruit with citrus candy, guava, peach, tangerine, pineapple, lemon, passion fruit, and a hint of melon, underlying resinous pine, slight grassy herbal notes, biscuity malt, and lots of light caramel candy sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, chewy, but the sweetness can become cloying.
O: I had such high hopes, given who they collab'd with and the hop combo they chose, but boy howdy did it ever disappoint. My main gripe is that it sits so damn sweet. I've mentioned who knows how many times in the past that I wished some beers had just a little more sweetness to help make the fruity flavors pop. Here it's the exact opposite. There's so much sweetness the flavors get overwhelmed and it becomes cloying, which is a shame because there's some good stuff burried in there. Let's call this a rare miss and move on.
