TDH Hop Fused Foggy DIPA with Citra, Galaxy, Nelson & Vic Secret
TASTING NOTES: A fruity hop bomb!!
RAD DETAILS: We've loaded this beer up with Citra cryo and Citra Incognito in the whirlpool, and added a nice mix of Northern and Southern hemisphere hops during multiple dry hop additions. The result is a beer that's bursting with fruity, hoppy goodness.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canning date 1/17/24.
Appearance: pale yellow hue with plenty of haze and a thick finger of frothy ivory foam. On the lighter side for the style.
Smell: quite earthy with a lot of grainy malt aroma and some sweetish tropical hops. Not terrible, but not really what I’m looking for in the style.
Taste: earthy, dank, piney hops, with a rather sweet malt base. Less graininess than the aroma; the earthy hops work a lot better in the flavor than in the smell.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and a pretty good creaminess.
Overall: not too bad, but not my favorite hazy DIPA out there. To me it’s not “bursting with fruity goodness”, but in general it’s an interesting enough beer.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and leaves some spotty lacing.
S: Ripe tropical and stone fruit, classic Nelson notes poke through, some citrus, spicy resinous and grassy notes, a bit floral, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Tropical and stone fruit, mango, guava, white peach, gooseberry, pineapple, passion fruit, white grape, and hints of melon, citrus, orange and lime, floral notes, a touch resinous and grassy, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, super soft on the palate.
O: Tropical and stone fruit initially take the lead, but the Nelson hops make their presence known more as it warms. While it does sit a touch on the sweet side it's still a very smooth NE style DIPA.
