Cellarmaker inspired Pale Ale (5.7%) with Nectaron and Strata
Our friends at Cellarmaker Brewing make some of the best pale ales known to humankind, so we decided on a Cellarmaker Style Pale Ale utilizing one of both breweries favorite hops Nectaron, along with the always solid Strata. We combined brains and techniques with our clear West Coast pale techniques for a hybrid "clearer" take on their Pale Ale approach.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours golden straw yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and laces quite nicely.
S: Slightly dank grassy herbal notes, citrus, tropical and stone fruit, a touch of chili spice, and crackery biscuity malt.
T: Boy howdy is there ever a lot going on in there. Slightly dank grassy herbal notes, citrus, grapefruit, lime, and tangerine, a little chili spice, tropical and stone fruit, apricot, peach, passion fruit, papaya, mango, slightly under ripe strawberry, and pineapple, crackery biscuity malt, and just a touch of sweetness on a fairly dry finish.
M: A touch on the lighter side of medium body, moderate carbonation, crisp.
O: Two of my favorites coming together to turn 2 cool newer hops into a very nice pale ale. Not quite as intense as a a lot of Cellarmaker beers can be, but just as refreshing.
