Avant-Garde West Coast Pale Ale with NZ104 & Citra
We're among the fortunate few breweries worldwide participating in the Bract Brewers Program by NZ Hops. This group trials the latest hop varieties emerging from NZ Hops' breeding program. Notably, Nectaron and Superdelic originated from this initiative, and we had the privilege of brewing with NZ102 (now known as Superdelic) several times during its early stages. Upon encountering NZ104, its initial aroma evoked a delightful fusion of Mosaic, Citra, Nectaron, and Superdelic, showcasing a vibrant fruit character and the classic New Zealand terroir essence. To accentuate these qualities, we chose to pair it with our familiar "control hop," Citra. The outcome? A brilliantly refreshing and well-balanced pale ale, offering a splendid showcase of this exceptional hop's capabilities. We hope you enjoy.
