Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and laces quite nicely.
S: Slightly dank overripe melon, tropical, and orchard fruit mixed with earthy spicy herbal notes, citrus zest, a little pine, twangy wheat, biscuity bready malt, and honey sweetness.
T: Herbal earthy pine, citrus, orange, grapefruit, and a little lime, kinda dank tropical and orchard fruit, big honeydew melon, pear, papaya, pineapple, passion fruit, apricot, and mango, maybe even a hint of banana and spice, a bit grassy, slightly bready biscuity malt, a touch of twangy wheat, and honey sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: Was pretty excited to try this one given the hop combo, but somehow it just didn't come together quite right. It's almost like they accidentally used Rakau instead of Waimea hops to get a lot of those fruity flavors and went a little heavy on the wheat. It's drinkable, but definitely not my thing.
