Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Punchy citrus zest, tropical and stone fruit, kinda fruit salad-y in a good way, light floral notes, biscuity malt, and a little caramel sweetness.
T: Zesty citrus, lime leads, followed by lemon and grapefruit with a bit of tangerine appearing as it warms, tropical and stone fruit, pineapple, cherry, passion fruit, apricot, peach, guava, plus melon and papaya that also emerge more as the glass empties, floral notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, faintly prickly moderate carbonation, a bit chewy.
O: Grabbed this one to see what MI Copper had to offer. Its contribution reminds me of a less sweet El Dorado, in a good way. Fun one to try, definitely has a flavor profile that stands out from the pack. I'm sure some will like it more than I do, and while I wouldn't turn down another can if it was offered to me, I would probably choose something else out of the cooler for my next round.

Poured from 16oz can into an IPA glass. Canned 1/14/24.
Appearance: pale orange hue with lots of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop, leaving a bit of chunky lace on the glass as it dissipates.
Smell: moderately sweet with a nice mix of orange-citrus and tropical-passionfruit aromas. I like it.
Taste: a little sweet, but this is mostly balanced by the good level of hoppiness. It’s not precisely juicy, but the tropical (again, passionfruit) and orange flavors really play well together here. Not a total fruit bomb but subtle and quite good.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and a really nicely smooth creaminess.
Overall: a totally solid hazy IPA. I wasn’t previously familiar with this brewery, but I will for sure check out more from them.
