Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy cream white head that settles to a firm layer and laces very nicely.
S: Lots of ripe tropical and stone fruit, juicy citrus, light floral notes, slightly resinous and grassy, biscuity malt, and caramel honey sweetness.
T: Big ripe tropical and stone fruit, peach, guava, mango, pineapple, apricot, and hints of melon and passion fruit, juicy citrus, tangerine, lemon lime, and grapefruit, floral notes, slightly resinous and grassy, biscuity malt, and caramel honey sweetness.
M: On the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate, creamy smooth, alcohol is very well hidden, dangerously drinkable.
O: Ridiculously smooth for its size, just like the original Triple S & S. The Nectaron brings some cool stuff to the party, but I feel like it's missing the Simcoe and Chinook that normally accompany the Citra and Centennial in most of the S &S family. Just a little more depth like that would bump this up to the next level. That being said, it's pretty hard to complain after cruising through a pint of such a smooth TIPA.
