We don’t know who stirred it up, but something beneath the surface has been vibing real aggressively. Unda The Sea is a DDH West Coast IPA built on crisp bitterness, bright citrus, and that clean, classic snap that makes you stop mid-sip and go “oh hell yeah”
Double dry hopped with Citra, Centennial, and Tangier, this one’s all zesty punch, coastal pine, and zero nonsense. Loud but balanced. Bold but polite. The kind of beer that shows up salty, sunburned, and somehow still punctual.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours golden yellow with a frothy cream white head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.
S: Resinous pine, a bit grassy and slightly herbal, citrus zest, subtle tropical and stone fruit, and biscuity bready malt.
T: Resinous pine citrus zest run the show, grapefruit, tangerine, and lemon, a little underlying tropical and stone fruit, apricot, peach, passion fruit, and papaya, slightly earthy grassy herbal notes, a hint of vanilla, biscuity bready malt, and a fairly dry finish.
M: A bit on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: Drinks like a proper old school West Coast IPA with just a hint of something new mixed in. I wish the Tangier was given a bit more of the stage to introduce itself or the fruity side of the Citra came through a bit stronger to balance things, but I respect it for what it is and what they were going for. That being said, I'd probably reach for something else for my next round.
