Simcoe + Strata collide like two sun-kissed tides at golden hour. It tastes like a surfer who got sunburned so badly they briefly saw God and He said, “drink something crisp, my child.”

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours golden amber with a frothy eggshell white head that settles to a firm layer and laces beautifully.
S: Spicy pine, slightly dank herbal notes, citrus zest, a touch grassy, subtle underlying tropical and stone fruit, and slightly toasty biscuity bready malt.
T: Citrus, grapefruit, and lemon, spicy pine, herbal slightly dank notes, a little underlying tropical and stone fruit, strawberry, apricot, and passion fruit, a touch grassy, and slightly toasty biscuity bready malt with a fairly dry finish.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, definitely drinks bigger than its size, in a good way.
O: Drinks like a classic old school pale ale, but made with more modern hops. I wouldn't mind just a touch of sweetness to help set off the fruity notes and counter the citrus and pine, but that's just me. I think they nailed what they were going for. Would definitely hit the spot on a refreshing day on the beach.
