Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours faintly hazy golden yellow with a frothy cream white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Citrus zest, resinous pine, a little grassy, underlying tropical and stone fruit, floral hints, slightly crackery biscuity malt, and a touch of caramel sweetness.
T: Zesty citrus, grapefruit, tangerine, lime, and lemon, resinous pine, underlying tropical and stone fruit, guava, passion fruit, blueberry, mango, peach, and apricot, a touch grassy, floral hints, slightly crackery biscuity malt, and a little caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly soft on the palate.
O: Solid modern Westy, but I think it could be even better if they bump up the carbonation just a bit to give it a little more bite. Some flavor profiles work better softer and smoother but I think this one would benefit from a little more classic Westy edge.
