Opaque OJ yellow-orange with a moderate off-white head leaving all kinds spongy walls on the glass.
Significantly maltier than the Hill Double Citra next to it, it also features more old school notes such as toasted graham, a touch of rug, and a little woody pine. At the same time, it's still quite juicy, yet also a little seedy, peppery and peanutty. It's really odd and unique.
What a huge disadvantage it is to Fox Farm, having this side by side a fresh pour of Double Citra at Three Penny Taproom. It really puts things into perspective. I didn't think a whole lot of Double Citra in the past, but wow, is it something else next to this.

Winnow from Fox Farm. Received from @Roy_Hobbs in BIF #14. Stored at home at 40 degrees. Reviewed 16/10/21. Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Stamped on bottom “CANNED ON 09/15/21”. Served at 40.8 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter. Final temperature 48.9 degrees.
Appearance – 4.
First pour – Straw (SRM 3), hazy.
Body – Pale Gold (SRM 4), opaque. When rear-lite, weakly translucent.
Head – Average (Maximum 4.3 cm, aggressive center pour), floral white, high density, average retention, diminishing to an undulating eight to fifteen mm crown and a rocky partial cap. Second pour produces a high-density one cm head. Unfiltered.
Lacing – Fair. Irregular wide band of tiny to small bubbles.
Aroma – 3.5 - Weak generic tropical fruity hops, no malt, no yeast.
Flavor – 3.5 – Flavor follows nose - no yeast, no malt, moderate tropical fruity hops, lightly bitter. No ethanol (6.2 % ABV, as marked on container) taste or aroma. Ghostly gastric warming with each swallow, rapidly passes. No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl.
Palate – 3 – Light side of medium, watery, soft carbonation.
Final impression and summation: 3.5 Nothing wrong with this IPA, just generally seems weak everywhere but in appearance.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy honey color with a one finger head that leaves swathes of lacing
Smell: Floral, with a sugar cookie malt tone; there is a lemon/lime character, as well
Taste: A hint of lemon/lime and an undertone of sugar cookie; the floral tones emerge, through the middle, supporting a lychee element; moderately bitter, through the middle, with the sugar cookie sweetness just peeking through into the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: The malt flavors here make this quite different from the typical NE IPA; I rather enjoyed it
Thanks, devoured by vermin, for the opportunity

Canned on 9/4/19
Pours a near-turbid mango orange body with just over a finger of fluffy white foam; decent retention yields a pillowy cap and thin layering of webby/speckled lacing.
Aromas open with sweet mango, orange, and fresh peach. Tropical tones dominate as a dankness develops over time with an undertone of wheaty spice; creamy herbal citrus defines the bouquet.
Taste is dense tropical medley, mainly overripe mangoes and peaches, but quietly herbal and with a malt backbone buried but presenting consistently; deep fruity tones impart heavily, along with a minor residual bitterness on the swallow.
Mouthfeel shows a lighter-than-medium body with a leveling, moderate carbonation imparting a light grit across the palate; lasting juicy consistency with fleeting hop tones poking through; somewhat sticky on the finish, with a cleaner swallow.
A bright, juicy NEIPA marked with the expected consistency and balance of a Fox Farm brew. At times a little too intense, thus muddling the profile a bit, but the end product harmonizes nicely all the same.

Milkshake cloudy with a whitish gold color. Thick initial ring of lace, 3D streaks and spots for the remainder of the tasting.
Sweet and prickly with plenty of tropical fruit and bittering grapefruit rind.
A definitive New England IPA with a juicy pale malty sweet base. The hop is strongest of the flavors. Long lasting bittersweet aftertaste. Full bodied but with ample carbonation as well.

Pours a golden hue with a loose, creamy, off-white head. Nose is mild and reminiscent of fermenting cornflakes. Taste follows nose with the addition of lemon and lime. Mouthfeel is light in body with a consistent, even carbonation. Overall, decent, but not one of my favorites offerings from this brewer.
