Wow! Was not expecting such a good imperial /triple IPA. Beware of high alcoholic content! Tasted sample at big bear burrito. 11% whoa! Great job Stumptown Ales!
Tried again at Mountain State Brewing after our bike ride down from Point Marion. Sour apricot and malt aroma, but pineapple sweetness in the mouth that had an odd turn on the finish. Can definitely feel it all the way down the throat, nice and warm.

L Clear copper color
S Sweet fresh tropical hops, alcohol
T This Big Bad Boy is an 11% ABV triple IPA. The taste follows the nose, with powerful fresh delicious sweet tropical hops, but not cloying, this is no malt bomb. Like drinking from an orchard. And amazingly given how strong this beer is,
it was crisp and bright, dangerously smooth to drink, you would never know it was 11%.
F Easy drinker, had to make myself take it slowly, on tap in an 8 oz glass.
O A revelation for a fresh bright sophisticated local tropical triple IPA
