Blumen, German for flowers, is one of the most beautiful beers we make. Hopped with a stunning blend of Southern Hemisphere hops—Ella, Motueka, and Nelson Sauvin, as well as a little Citra and Mosaic cryo. It pours a bright yellow, with a dense, thick haze. It’s nothing short of smelling a garden full of flowers, citrus blossoms and tropical fruits. Soft, fluffy, juicy, but extremely elegant and balanced.

You guessed it orange in color, almost a muted orange. White head. Citrus nose, like a tangerine. Taste was same, with a bit of a grape flavor, not too much though. Decent backend bitterness.

Smells and tastes like pineapple, blueberry, papaya, slightly spicy, marmalade, candied tropical fruits. Really really enjoyed this one and will pick it up next time I see it. I have been very impressed with Aurora thus far.

Aurora Brewing Co. IPA-Imperial / Double New...
Ooh, so soft and juicy. A leafy hop with sweet floral, tangerine tropical fruits, and tangy white grapes. Slightly boozy for 7.2% abv. Grapefruit tartness in the nose. But the body is easy enough to sip endlessly. A grassy, leafy, and grainy hop finish keeps rolling on.

16oz can with illegible date code.
Pours milky yellow with an inch of rocky white froth. Plenty of tattered lacing and persistent retention. Pineapple, pear, honeydew in the nose. Medium bodied with a creamy, soft mouthfeel. Juicy tropicals on the palate with minimal malt or bitterness. Pear syrup, pineapple, melon. Finishes ripe and juicy.
