Our traditional dry Irish stout. Notes of coffee, roasty black malts and dark chocolate with a smooth body and crisp finish.

Can from Bert's
Pours an inky black with a small tan head that persists.
Big coffee and roast on the nose and in the flavor earthy hop bitterness to compliment creamy mouthfeel. Nice dry stout

Pours dark. Creamy tan foam. Malty aroma. Dry hop body. Roasted malt finish. Very dry. Silky smooth. A solid nitro.

Ferfooksake pours black, with a large, long-lasting, lacing, frothy tan head. The aroma has notes of burnt chocolate malts. The falvr has a fresh, bitter chocolate malt flavor, and lots of it. It has a light, watery feel. Overall, it is a very good plain stout packed with bitter flavors.

On tap at Fattey Beer Company – Kenmore in Buffalo, NY.

This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells pretty chocolatey, with a sharp but tasty roasted character, licorice, herbal root aromas, and a slight bit of black pepper.

This feels pretty well spot on to me. It’s not as thin as the style can sometimes be, with a full, rich malt character. It’s quite roasty, and pretty bitter, but the chocolatey sweetness does help to smooth some of that over. There’s an herbal bitterness on the finish that’s very enjoyable as well.

This is medium bodied, crisp, and super drinkable.

This style can be an afterthought sometimes, so it’s always a nice surprise to come across a well made American version.
