This New England inspired lager was brewed with wheat and light caramel malts for a smooth creamy body. Dry hopped with Idaho 7, El Dorado, and Citra for a big citrus and tropical flavor and aroma. Proof that lagers are delicious especially during the summer months. Keep Cold, Drink Phresh, Party On.

Poured from 12-ounce bottle into a lager flute. Pretty golden-copper colored body, with a center pour yielding two and a half fingers of thick white head. Good head retention, with a bit of lacing. The first thing you notice is the bright hop aromas as you open the bottle. Very pleasant aromas and flavors of light toasted malt and caramel, balanced by citrus and tropical fruit. Nicely bitter (40 IBU, and they're all there), pleasantly dry finish. This is a spring seasonal, so get it while you can!

Deep clear gold color with white cap and lacing.
Aromas of resin and citrus, sharp and with depth, around a mild malt core.
Taste is hop forward but not in a knock your socks off sort of way, rather crisply marching forward like freshly graduated cadets. As the hop flavors develop I get a fuller, rounder approach that touches on pine but rests on citrus, predominately grapefruit. Finish brings a zing of hop brightness that last into the aftertaste. Hops sing an octave higher and are clearly heard throughout yet the malt doesn't get drown out. Simple flavors well knit together.
Medium-full texture with balancing carbonation.
This brew pours clear, not hazy, but is a Lager so dropping bright shouldn't be a surprise. It is brightly hoppy without veering off into bitterness and if the Brewer want's to call it a NEIPL I won't argue. It's a well thought out and highly crafted beer whatever they choose to name it.

Exceptionally hoppy with a ton of bitter at the finish for this style. Not in my humble opinion a great example of a northeast style lager
