A hefe- without a head.
I give this average points for Looks: nice, filtered clarity; but no foam, and foam means beer.
Smells are refreshing and inviting, but it is all orange. (As also is true for the style, this is a hefe- without the banana.)
Tastes are decent, but just below average; even considering that this is a style designed to refresh by the pool in 80 degrees + heat and humidity. So, I don't expect too much Taste. As for Feel, nothing wrong here except I can't find the bubbles.
My copy of this wheat ale was in a can, but at this moment 81 Bay is offering it on tap.
Another Gulf Coast brewery only 4 years old founded by friends with a taproom with games and music and a convenient place to kick-back in the neighborhood ... How many times have I heard this story? Perhaps 81 Bay will add to their story, but currently there is not much I read above the average. But, good luck to them in expanding their niche !
