Introducing our Signature American IPA, a Stones Throw brew that stands out from the crowd. Slightly orange and oh so hoppy, its robust bitterness is balanced with the rich maltiness. Classic American hops deliver a punch of pine and grapefruit notes.

Poured from 16oz can acquired at the brewery into a dimpled mug. Can says "date filled: 41", which I assume means 2/10/23.
Appearance: rich golden-orange hue with a dash of haze and a couple little floaties in there. Head is a finger of frothy ivory foam; overall looks pretty good.
Smell: lightly aromatic with a sweet, slightly biscuity malt, and a rather floral hop character. It's not bad, per se, but reminds me much more of a light pale ale than an IPA.
Taste: quite sweet and caramelly, with a piney, floral hop character. Definitely more IPA than the aroma, and the bitterness is appropriate. Not too bad!
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: this beer definitely seems to ride the line between IPA and pale ale, and while it is tasty enough, is a bit too sweet for my palate.

Light, white head. Slightly spiced and off-dry, herbal hop note, with a moderate amount of medium toasted, caramel malt aroma. A good grapefruit peel and herbal flavor and faint bite, good medium toast, caramel malt flavor.

One of the breweries core beers, I can't believe I haven't reviewed it before now. Cuz, I've drank a bunch of them.
A nice, basic NW IPA, that's a hazy medium yellow color, with a white head that gives good retention and lacing. The aroma is light grain, and hops that are both gentle and sharp. The flavors are similar, just brighter.
The body is smooth and even, with a semi-dry finish. Drinkability is very nice (as demonstrated by my return quaffs). Overall, a solid and enjoyable brew.
